I. Event Times/Schedules (All times listed are Eastern Time zone)A. Events are Sunday from 11 AM until 3 PM Eastern Time (Subtract 3 hours for Pacific Time, 2 hours for Mountain, and 1 hour for Mountain Time) . Events on Thursday are 7 PM until 11 PM. In the chance that we run over on time, overtime points can be assigned by an officer.
B. The next event upcoming will be posted along with the shopping list for it, as soon as the officers decide on what is next.
C. Members are expected to show up every run. Absences should be communicated ahead of time to an officer in-game or via a post on the forum.
D. Bonus points will be awarded for good attendance. (see II-D)
E. At the end of a calendar month, members who have not received 60 points (3 runs), are placed on probation until they receive 60 points for the current calendar month. If you are on
probation, you are in lotting group 3 until you have received 60 points in the current calendar month.
F. Part time members must be approved by an officer ahead of time and will only need 40 points per month to avoid probation. Exceptions can be made for extreme circumstances if communicated to the officers.
G. Members are expected to have forum access at
http://catwho.net/yamatoforum. Members who do not have PC access should communicate with an officer regarding their points and other information. All other members should use the website for lotting declarations, absences, etc.
II. Point GatheringA. Points are given as a total of 5 points per hour, for a max of 20 points per event.
B. Attendance is taken every 30 minutes (7 PM, 7:30, 8, etc). For every 30 you are late, you lose 5 points (max 20 pts lost). This means if you show up 2 hours late, do not expect points for that day. You cannot lose points for being late, you just will fail to gain more points for that day.
C. If you will be late and you know ahead of time, post on the website or let an officer know. You will not receive the negative points, you will receive points based on how long you were there. Ex: You posted and were 2 hours late and stayed for the last 2 hours = you get 10 points. You posted and were 2.5 late, and stayed for the rest = 8ish points. It’s a fraction of the 5 points per hour that we base the 20 points per run on.
D. Bonus Points will be given for good attendance for a calendar month. These points will be given ASAP in the following month. (Points for Jan 1-31, given Feb 1. Points for Feb 1-28, given March 1, etc) Don’t pester the officers, they might take an extra day if there was an event the day before though.
Bonus points will be given for gaining 75%, 87.5%, and 100% of the max possible points for that month (excludes overtime points). Ex: A standard month has 8 runs, so 160 points max. The point cutoffs are 120, 140, 160 points, respectively. 75% = 15 Bonus Points, 87.5% = 30 Bonus Points, 100% = 50 Bonus Points.
Points for outside farming on the ‘Shopping List’ ARE counted towards your points for a month. So if you miss a run or 2, you can do some outside farming, depending on what we have coming up, and get back up to the bonus threshold.
E. The Shopping List. As soon as the officers decide on the next event, we will decide on what triggers (if any) points for outside farming will be given for, and assign values. (Sky/Sea/ZNM/etc) Points given can be split among those who did the kill once you tell the officers on how you want the points split up.
III. Using PointsA. Lotting groups are:
1. Group 1: Full/Part time members that have placed a bid on the forum for an item on the forum ahead of time.
2. Group 2: Everyone else who wants may bid like the current system we use. This is also where most craftables will fit in.
3. Group 3: Rot Drops. We will no longer enforce rot drops. So if no one wants it, it is a freelot. If we think someone is abusing the system, we may adjust this. If you are on
probation, you are in this group!
B. Bidding on the forums. Go under Yamato Discussion, in the Item Bid thread. All bids must be placed before 11:59 PM Eastern on the Tuesday of any given week to be processed. You may INCREASE your bids at any time, but may not decrease it. (see section IIIC/D) It is your job, for any given event if you know you want something, to go and post your bid on xxx item ahead of time. If you do not have PC access, /t an officer as early as possible or get a friend to post for you please.
When bidding, if you outbid someone in the 12 hour period before the 11:59 cutoff, you are in a bidding war with that person(s).)Bidding war clarification: When you are in a bidding war, you may continue bidding that item. If we do that monster in an event Thurs/Sun and we have more than 1 person in the bidding war for an item on, we will have all members included do the bids in /l until we have a winner. If you have not increased your bid on an item in a week, you will be taken off 'war' status.Bids can be increased by 25 points above the current max bid, you can bid equal to a current bid, or you can bid less than a current bid.C. Unfulfilled bids at end of an Event Cycle. At the end of an Event Cycle (us moving from sky/sea/etc to something else) you have the option to recoup some points you have bid, if you desire. You can leave the bid on until next time we come back to the said area, or receive the points back, minus 25%.
D. Canceling a bid DURING the current event cycle. If you wish to cancel a bid during the current cycle, you can get your points back, minus 40% of the bid.
E. Certain items will have a minimum starting number for bids on the website. The information will be posted in the thread of the same name in the Yamato Discussion area of the forum.
If you have any questions, you can ask them in this area of the forums, or ask Deku, Jublivont, or Cole(Guttler) in-game.
